Esta es una de esas noches en las que, debido al agotamiento ocasionado por el esfuerzo mental en el trabajo, me encuentro con la mente en blanco (por eso el "conjunto vacío" /no encontré el símbolo de vacío pero el cero lo representa bien jeje). Y, en el espíritu de no pensar, no les pondré un set creadito ahorita bien calientito recién salidito de Polyvore sino que les pondré un set de hace tiempo (pfffff!)... pero es un set que me gusta justo ahora porque es verano ladies and gentlemen, Y ME DERRITO Y NO AGUANTO MÁS!!!! Pero aún así me gusta :D

Esto es lo que me puse hoy para ir al trabajo. Súper cómodo en verdad pero a esos zapatitos Foresta tengo siempre que ponerles doble plantilla porque la suela no es lo suficientemente gruesa como para que mis pies puedan soportar caminar sobre el accidentado piso del centro de Lima u_u

Les cuento que volví a descargar tumblr en mi BlackBerry así que estaré posteando tonterías en mi tumblr más seguido, vayan a checkearlo: nonsenselessness.tumblr.com :D

Por otro lado... no sé si les gusten los posts de comida pero de hecho vendrán varios de esos porque últimamente me la paso comiendo fuera jejeje. Este domingo fue épico para mi estómago y el de mi mamá, ya verán pronto xD

Siii, outfit post por fin! Esto es lo que me puse hoy para ir a trabajar y después pasar a Starbucks con mis amigas de la universidad. El clima ya está como para no llevar cardigan ni siquiera de noche. Me encanta, me compraré una silla playera para tirarme cual morsita varada en mi azotea jaja (porque no tengo tiempo para ir a la playa aaaa D:)

Estoy a punto de salir pero antes un post al toque enseñándoles lo que usualmente uso para maquillarme cuando tengo tiempo :)

Ese case de maquillaje lo hice yo ;D antes lo utilizaba para llevar mis cables y memorias USB pero ahora lo utilizo para maquillaje y tengo una cartuchera con mis cables, USBs, un resaltador, UHU y un par de lapiceros x) [me gusta cargar con todo, mi cartera los asustaría]

aaaaaaa! Llegué a Lima de nuevo y ya quiero irme :( mi mejor amigo está en Chiclayo viviendo a dos puertas de mi casa y lo veía cada media hora así que quiero volver!! Además, extraño a mis abuelos y mis tías y mi prima y mis perros!

Por cierto, la foto no es nada actual. Es de julio 2011 y ella es Estrella, la dálmata de mi prima ;)

El trabajo está fueeeerte y supongo que iré a dormir, mañana debo llegar temprano para calcular un par de cosas u_u Creo que este fin de semana (que parece que será tranquilo), intentaré esto además de algunas técnicas de organización para mi cuarto ;D He caído en la conclusión de que, a pesar de que no paso casi nada de tiempo en mi cuarto, este debe de estar al menos igual de organizado que mi tiempo, mi trabajo, mi calendario social y mis gastos.

Disculpen la ausenciaaaa! He utilizado el poco tiempo que he pasado en casa en esta última semana y media para dormir. El 17 y 18 de diciembre estuve en Tarapoto y, después, del 23 al 25 estuve en Chiclayo. Este fin de semana iré a Chiclayo de nuevo para recibir el 2012 y espero estar en Pucallpa a mediados de enero, yes! :D Me encanta viajar. //Estas fotos son del 18.

Ayer fui con mamá a visitar a un amigo que está algo mal de salud. Estuvimos perdidas un buen rato hasta encontrar su casa pero fue divertido jeje. Felizmente nuestro amigo está mejorando y en poco tiempo volverá a trabajar :) Por otro lado, debido a que tiene pancreatitis, no podrá comer lo que le gusta por mucho tiempo... Fue una especie de wake-up call: debemos cuidarnos al comer.

mañana empieza mi última semana de clases como estudiante universitaria de la carrera de economía de la universidad X (ok, ok, de la universidad de Lima -wow, nunca lo había dicho, no? jaja). bueno, me siento... pequeña jaja. qué raro, no? debería sentirme grande y... realizadísima pero no. en realidad, siento que no quiero irme. quiero quedarme, estudiar más. pero bueno... estudiaré más. igual, el otro ciclo presentaré la segunda parte de mi tesis y, aunque no escucharé más clases porque no me quedan más cursos por llevar, técnicamente, seguiré siendo estudiante, yeeh! jaja vaya premio de consolación xD en fin, al menos, el hecho de no graduarme este año ha traído sus beneficios, como unas buenas prácticas pre-profesionales que iniciaré en diciembre y que, una vez que acabe con la universidad, pueden ir a mucho más. claro que siempre estará la posibilidad de estudiar otra carrera, eso hará que extrañe la universidad menos y, definitivamente, será provechoso. en la medida de lo posible, lo haré. me graduaré como economista a los 21 y la edad no me parece mala, me permitirá seguir, en realidad, ninguna edad es mala para estudiar y aprender algo nuevo. de repente me meto a la escuela de diseño y empiezo mi propia línea de ropa, quién sabe. de repente me meto a comunicaciones y acabo siendo una periodista económica, quién sabe. a decir verdad, ni yo lo sé. sólo sé que, justo ahora, me va bien. seguiré así. me gusta lo que estoy haciendo y estoy confiada en que me gustará también lo que empezaré a hacer. de todas formas, espero que sigan los desayunos eventuales en san antonio, los raves, reus y conciertos de vez en cuando, las salidas a caminar con mi mejor amigo, los ensayos de su banda los fines de semana en casa de mi segundo mejor amigo (que ni se entere de que es "el segundo", me extermina xD) ... en fin, son demasiadas cosas. me encanta tener bastante por lo que sonreír, a parte, obviamente, de mi familia. uff, estoy muy agradecida. ha sido (está siendo, mejor dicho) un buen 2010. me ha dolido pero aprendí y sigo aprendiendo un montón (:

oigan, este post es el #85... no puedo creer que falten sólo 15 para el #100! :D les cuento que esta semana compramos, por fin, la máquina de coser que tanto queríamos! no es nada sofisticada ya que la utilizaremos para proyectos personales pero me encanta que ya la tengamos y me fascina la idea de empezar a hacer miles de cosas con ella. hoy fuimos a Gamarra y compramos tela, tijeras, elástico, hilos y más cositas con las cuales empezar. tenemos un costurero muy básico pero, por ahora, estamos bien con eso. trataré de enseñarles las cosas que haré conforme las vaya ejecutando. btw, qué tal halloween/día de la canción criolla?? cómo la pasaron? salieron a tonear? se disfrazaron? pidieron dulces? o hicieron como yo: se quedaron en casa con unos amigos para una maratón de Pesadilla en la Calle Elm porque se dieron cuenta de que ya fueron lo suficientemente party animals el resto del año?? xD vimos sólo las tres primeras porque nos dio sueño, fuimos a dormir y... fue. fin de la festividad jaja. en fin, los dejo con mi outfit del jueves, fui a Café News con mi mejor amigo y esto es lo que me puse.

hey, this is post #85... can't believe we're already 15 posts away from #100! :D i have some good news, this week we finally bought the sewing machine we wanted for so long! it's nothing fancy but i love the fact that we already got it and that i'm going to be able to make lots of things with it. today we went to Gamarra and bought fabric, scissors, elastic, threads and more things to get started with. i'll try to show you my projects as i execute them. oh, btw, how was your halloween weekend? (here, in Perú, we also celebrate our music on October 31st) did you party your butts off? wore a costume? went trick or treating? or did like me: stay home with friends and watch a Nightmare on Elm Street marathon because you've realized you've already partied hard enough the rest of the year?? xD we only got to see the first three because we almost fell asleep on the couch so we just went to bed and... that's it. end of the festivities haha. anyway, i'll leave you with pictures of what i wore on thursday to go out with my best friend.

holaaa, qué tal va la semana? yo estoy recibiendo mis notas de parciales, todas buenas hasta ahora, estoy relativamente satisfecha (: ayer fui al centro de Lima para hacer un poco de vintage shopping y compré un par de faldas (que si vuelvo a trabajar verán, si no... no sé jajaja), una blusa (que me pondré PRONTOprontoPRONTO), un polo de gasa (el del outfit que les enseño hoy) y un saco (que tendré que mandar a dar unos retoques por aquí y por allá). todo lo verán en outfits muy pronto! hola, les cuento que aún no veo The Departed, salí ayer todo el día y no pude verla. PERO si le contaré que vi Mystic River hace poco. creo que, sin darme cuenta he entrado a una faceta Sean Penn jaja. espero que la próxima que vea que lo incluya sea "Carlito's Way" de De Palma. en fin, Mystic River me gustó mucho... la clasificaría como policial pero tiene un trasfondo más grande, aún así, me sorprende que Penn haya ganado el Oscar a mejor actor por esta película y no por I Am Sam. por otro lado... hoy toca outfit post (: les conté que fui a una tienda vintage, no? se supone que hoy iría de nuevo pero no he podido salir de mi casa así que, antes de comprar más, les iré posteando outfits con las piezas vintage que ya compré empezando por este chaleco, me encanta.

hi, let me tell you i haven't watched The Departed again yet, went out all day yesterday and couldn't watch it. BUT i did watch Mystic River a couple days ago. i think i've entered a Sean Penn stage without noticing haha. i hope i get to watch De Palma's "Carlito's Way" next. anyway, i really liked Mystic River... although i can't get over the fact that Penn won the Oscar for this acting on this movie rather than on I Am Sam. on a side note... today's post is an outfit post (: told you i found a vintage store, right? i was supposed to go again today but i haven't been able to leave the house so, before buying more clothes, i'll post outfits with the vintage pieces i've already bought starting with this knit vest, i love it.

hola chic@s! (: no he tenido tiempo para editar más fotos estos días, así que este post es bien random. fui a un concierto de piano, bueno a dos en realidad, pero era el mismo pianista, fue más que alucinante! trataré de editar los videos también para enseñarles. me dieron muchas ganas de tocar! hace tieeempo que no lo hago.

en fin... he estado comiendo sanamente y durmiendo no tan sanamente esta semana... hoy comí una ensalada de almuerzo, yo me la hice y, por primera vez, tengo que decir que resultó buena jaja... la comí mientras miraba el partido Ghana-EEUU. luego fui a la universidad -llegué tarde por el partido jeje- y luego al concierto y luego a casa y ahora estoy escribiendo esto y debería estar trabajando en mi tesis... así queeee, tengan un domingo excelente! vean los partidos, coman rico, duerman mucho, chanquen bastante. i'm out! :D

holaaa, buenas tardes/noches. hoy no fui a clases, no me siento muy bien. felizmente no había nada importante programado para hoy en la universidad, así que estoy en casa comiendo helado y a punto de ver What Women Want a ver si esta vez la termino y no me quedo dormida jaja. pero antes quería enseñarles unos sets que hice hace un tiempito. son sets con mini vestidos, uno blanco (en dos combinaciones) y uno negro. lo genial de los vestidos es que los puedes usar todo el año y no sólo en verano ya que si hace frío, como ahorita, te pones medias y un saco largo o una capa y ya estás. ¡espero que les guste! hiii, good afternoon/evening. i didn't go to class today, i don't feel well. luckily there wasn't anything important scheduled for today at uni, so i'm home having some icecream and about to see What Women Want, i'm just hoping i don't fall asleep this time haha. but before that, i wanted to show you some sets i made some time ago. these sets show minidresses, a white one (in two outfit ideas) and a black one. what's great about dresses is that you can use them all year round and not just in the summer because if it is cold, like right now here in Lima, you can wear stockings or tights and a long coat or a cape and you're good to go! hope you like this!

hola hola. soy una fallaza, dije el lunes en la noche en el post anterior, en twitter dije que hoy en la noche y al final resulto posteando a media tarde jaja. pero aquí está el nuevo post. no sé por qué tanto preámbulo si, al final, nunca resulto escribiendo mucha genialidad jaja. ojalá entretenga al menos. pero eso sí, de hecho hay algo importante en este post, Lulux me dio un premio :D ¡SIIII! GRACIAS LULUX :D es el Happy 101 y tengo que comentarles algunas cositas que me hacen feliz... empezaré por:

hi hi. i know i suck. on the last post i said i'd post on monday night, on twitter i said i'd post tonight and, in the end, i turn up posting in the middle of the afternoon haha. but here's the new post, i don't know why so much intro if, in the end, i never write anything too genious haha. i hope i'm entertaining at least. but hey, there is, in fact, something important in this post, Lulux gave me an award :D YAAAYYY! THANKS LULUX :D it's the Happy 101 and i have to tell you guys a few things that make me happy.... i'll start with:

1. el cielo... asu, cómo extraño el cielo en Chiclayo... acá no siempre es bonito pero hay días, como hoy, en que me sorprende y sale el solcito (a pesar de seguir haciendo frío -eso es lo que más me gusta) y se ven nubes bonitas... // the sky... wow, i miss Chiclayo's sky so bad... here, the sky isn't always pretty but there are days like today in which i'm surprised by the sun (despite the cold weather -that's what i like) and you can see a few pretty clouds...

2. creo que esto lo pueden adivinar... algo que siempre me hace sonreir... // i think you can guess this one... something that always makes me smile...

3. lo que sea que esté hecho con lúcuma jaja ¡alto! antes de que piensen que estoy loca, esto tiene una explicación: mi mamá vivió por 7 años en Puerto Rico, allá no hay lúcuma, yo supongo que cuando vino me vi un poco influenciada por su emoción de poder comer helado de lúcuma en 4d cualquier día que me afané con la lúcuma bastante también... en realidad, siempre han sido mis frutas favoritas la chirimoya, la lúcuma y el mango pero ahora, con esto, la lúcuma ha re-confirmado su lugar en mi top 3 :D // anything made with lucuma!!! :D

hola chic@s, ¿cómo han estado? esta semana fue semana de parciales, por eso no pude postear. eso y la fila de tonos a los que fui este fin de semana jeje (; el viernes fui a Sargento para un concierto de electro-indie (¡¡SONORADIO y Furgoneta fueron lo máximo!!), recontra chévere. y, anoche, fui a un triple-cumple. 3 de mis amigos cumplieron años en semana de parciales así que decidieron celebrarlo con un tono el sábado en la noche. fue letal, por decirlo así. recontra divertido, en verdad jaja. ahora, para compensarle mi ausencia a mi cama, el próximo fin de semana no saldré o, al menos, no creo que lo haga. nunca se sabe. *BTW, el concierto de AEROSMITH fue una de las mejores experiencias que he pasado... estuve esperando ese concierto por 21 años (y eso que tengo 20 jaja). fui/soy/seré feliz.*

hey guys, how have you been? this past week was mid-terms week that's why i haven't been able to post. that and all the partying i did this weekend hehe (; on friday i went to Sargento Pimienta (Sgt. Pepper) for an electro-indie concert, it was so cool, SONORADIO and Furgoneta were amazing! and last night i went to a triple-birthday party, 3 of my friends turned years on mid-terms week so they decided to throw their party on saturday night. it was lethal to say the least. so much fun, really. to make things right with my bed and my sleeplessness i'm not going out next weekend. or, at least, i don't think i am, you never know. *BTW, the AEROSMITH concert was one of the most amazing things i've been through... i'd been waiting for them for 21 years (and i'm only 20 haha). i was/am/will be happy.*

otra cosa súuuper chévere que pasó la semana pasada es que conocí a Antara del blog Cuestión de Zapatos (: fuimos al MALI antes de que Portraits de Testino se nos escape jeje, me cayó bastante bien, es una persona muy dulce y carismática y ¡resulta que somos casi vecinas! y que ella es una mala influencia jajaja mentira. lo que pasa es que casi falto a clases para poder seguir conversando de nuestras vidas y del fashion blogging jeje, pero al final no falté porque empezaban los parciales en un par de días y porque la señorita del MALI dijo que no debería. sabiamente fui a clase (aunque no quería jaja). hola, este es un post super rápido (: creo que es una de las pocas veces que posteo de mañana jaja. qué raro se siente. en fin... estoy tomando mi tecito en la oficina, aún no llega nadie. qué extraño es estar aquí cuando está vacío (¡mejor!) jajaja. ayer tuve un debate de política económica, estuvo recontra chévere Y... quería comentarles que el sábado también fui a la exposición de humor político en la sala Luis Miró Quesada Garland de la Municipalidad de Miraflores. me he reído taaaanto, aaayayay, yo que me río con todo, pero en verdad el sarcasmo es mi forma humorística favorita y en esas caricaturas hay tanto de él que... no paré de reír. mi boina roja y yo éramos un "jijiji" por la sala. vayan a mirar por ahí, está bieeen bacán. recomendadísimo (;

hi, this is a super quick post (: i think this is one of the couple times i post in the morning. how odd. anyway, i'm drinking my cup of tea in the office, noone has arrived yet, how weird it is to be here when there's noone else around (better!) haha. yesterday i had a debate in economic policy class, it was really cool AND... i wanted to talk to you guys about this expo i went to on saturday, it's about humor in politics (at the Luis Miró Quesada Garland room). i've laughed sooo much... i practically laugh with everything but this just cracked me up. sarcasm is my favorite form of humor and this had so much of it i just couldn't stop. me and my red beret were all "heehee" around the room. go check it out if you get a chance, it's really cool! hola. esta semana ha sido una semana extraña. he estado perdiendo y recuperando amigos. lo cual está mal. los amigos son... o, deberían ser, irrenunciables. ojalá la situación mejore. el drama universitario está empezando a demandar más tiempo que política económica. ¡increíble! en fin... volví a las minúsculas y tengo algunas cositas nuevas que he comprado que quería compartir con ustedes:

hi. this week's been weird. i've lost some friends, stuck to some others. that's just bad. friends are... or, should be... irrevocable. i hope this gets better. university drama is starting to demand more time than economic politics. unbelievable! anyway... i'm back to little letters and i have some new stuff on my closet that i'd like to share with you guys:

(1) hace unas semanas, en la caja de plaza vea, vi esta pashmina gris que costaba S/.9.90, la toqué y era suaveciiiita, la compré. llegué a mi casa y me di cuenta de que olía raro, la lavé y el olor se fue. supongo que era un olor a plástico, no sé, pero se fue. ahora huele normal, a suavitel jaja. así que... CONSEJO: si se compran esas pashminas de la caja de plaza vea, lávenlas antes de usarlas. el punto es... ahora esta pashmina es uno de mis easy-to-style pieces. cuando no sé qué ponerme para mejorar un outfit la cojo y todo bien (;

*este outfit es un toque tranquilo porque lo usé para ir a chambear...*

(1) a couple weeks ago, i was at the supermarket and spotted this pashmina on the register, it was S/.9.90 (which is like $3.50) and i had to buy it! it's really soft, the color is really versatile and even though i had to wash it because it smelled weird -like plastic, it soon has become one of my favorite easy-to-style pieces. i throw it over almost everything now.

(2) yesterday i went out with my mom, we were looking for some shoes for her. in the end, i ended up buying these flats and walked out of the store already wearing them! haha. they're really comfortable and they were S/.39 (like $14). reaaaally cheap for a pair of shoes that are such life savers.

(3) ayer, también, pasé por Do It! y salí de ahí con esta boina roja. últimamente, mis amigos me andan diciendo que me veo europea jaja no sé a qué se debe eso. debe ser la pashmina, ahora con la boina, definitivamente, la completé jaja. (algo le pasa a mi cámara, está todo blury... debe ser que no ha podido volverse todo terreno a pesar de los mil videos en los autos de mis amigos escuchando rock y bailando como locos. muchos golpes u_u*)

(3) yesterday, also, i stopped by Do It! and walked out of there with these red beret. lately, my friends have been telling me i look kind of european haha. i don't know about that. must be the pashmina and now with the beret, i think i'm all set! haha. (something's wrong with my camera, it's all blury... it must be all the mean stuff i've done to it this past weeks filming videos of me and my friends being silly around town. bumpy roads u_u*)

cosas para sonreír. estoy buscando cosas felices en la vida. colores, flores, luces, aaaahhhh, creo que soy bipolar. he sido la persona más feliz, la más triste, traicionada, molesta, feliz de nuevo, la más emocionada, asustada, etc. en el lapso de una semana. este fin de semana, especialmente, ha sido letal. quiero estar tranquila. próximamente lo estaré, estoy segura. adoptaré una perrita, le pondré de nombre karma y así podré decir: karma is a bitch. jaja. estoy bromeando. que tengan una buena semana, gente (;

holaaaa, creo que este es mi primer post con título en castellano jaja. o no? me parece que sí, luego reviso. ok. cómo están? todo va bien? qué tal el fin de semana? ya compraron algo para sus madres? o bueno... han pensado en algo que harán? porque, sinceramente, todas las celebraciones nos llevan al consumismo y... no me hagan empezar. yo aún no sé. creo que iremos a cenar (: justo ayer mi mamá llegó de Chiclayo. qué envidia poder ir y venir a/de Cix cuando quiera u___u* esto es lo que me puse para ir a la agencia a recogerla.

es recontra simple, en verdad. compré ese jean el viernes, nunca se tienen demasiados pitillos negros jeje. me costó menos de lo que pensé (; y me di cuenta de que había bajado una talla. qué alucinante! y, es alucinante porque no me habría dado cuenta de no haberme probado ese jean. aunque... hace un par de semanas compré un short de Mossimo (que aún no aparece en el blog pero próximamente) y con ese fui al tono de 2 Many DJs que les conté y me la pasé jalándome el short hacia arriba porque se me caía jaja. no me importó mucho esa incomodidad, la verdad. estoy volviéndome inmune a la incomodidad. estoy de excelente humor últimamente. este fin de semana iré a un par de fiestas. definitivamente, este sábado promete. y ya faltan menos de 20 días para el concierto de Aerosmith. no pido más :D esperaré.

it's really simple, actually. i bought those jeans on friday, one can never have enough black skinnies hehe. it was actually cheaper than i expected (; and i realized i'm a size smaller now. how weird! i mean, when did this happen? haha... a couple weeks ago i bought some denim shorts from Mossimo and wore them to the 2 Many DJs party i told you guys about, i spent the whole night pulling the shorts up because they were too large and they kept falling down haha. fortunately i am now inmune to uncomfortable situations, i'm over them! i'm in a great mood lately. this weekend i'm going to a couple parties. definitely, this saturday's looking promessing. and now we're less than 20 days away from the Aerosmith concert. i can't ask for more :D i'll wait.

Estoy en casa ahora, aaaaah qué bien se siente no tener que levantarse a las 6am o antes en un sábado. Tengo una nueva regla para mis fines de semana: juerguear dejando una semana. Esta semana no toca jaja. La semana pasada fui al rave de 2 Many DJs en Hebraica, estuvo DEMASIADO.GENIAL! Creo que aún no les he contado lo mucho que estoy empezando a enamorarme de los raves jaja. Desafortunadamente no tengo fotos, trato de no llevar mi cámara a estos eventos porque tengo miedo de perderla (salto demasiado jeje). Sólo llevo dinero, celular, entrada y llaves. Pero sólo para que sepan de quiénes les hablo (en caso de que aún no lo sepan), aquí hay una foto de ellos, son dos hermanos belgas que vinieron a cansarnos haciéndonos tonear hasta que no podíamos sentir nuestras piernas (x

I'm home right now. Aaaahhh how good it felt not to wake up at 6am or earlier for once on a saturday. I have a new rule for my weekends: party every other saturday (or friday). This week there's no party planned for me. Last week I went to the 2 Many DJs party at Hebraica, it was SO.FREAKIN'.FUN! I don't think I ever told you about how much I'm starting to love raves haha. Sadly I don't have pictures, I try not to take my camera to this kind of things 'cause I'm afraid I might lose it (I jump a lot hehe), I just go with money, cellphone, ticket and keys. But just so you know who I'm talking about (in case you don't already), here's a picture of them, they're two belgium brothers who came to exhaust us by making us party until we couldn't feel out legs anymore (x

volví. y estoy posteando desde mi clase. realmente, esta clase no me gusta mucho porque... no hay mucha vida en él. ¡quiero sentirme inspirada! quiero sentir que me están empujando hacia hacer algo genial y... ahora estoy sólo haciendo venting. jaja.

anyway, hice unos sets en polyvore en las últimas semanas y fue hace unos días que me di cuenta de que he usado los mismos jeans en los últimos 3 sets. así que hice una especie de remix con esos jeans sin darme cuenta jaja. aquí están los sets, ¡díganme cuál es su favorito!

hey, hey, hey. volví. (ahora tengo ganas de escribir todo en minúsculas, talvés también siento que sin tildes pero no puedo dejar pasar las faltas ortográficas u_u*). así que... esto es lo que ha pasado conmigo:

- las clases empezaron en la universidad

- duermo poco

- empecé a trabajar en mi tesis

- estoy tomando un montón de agua

- estoy llorando mucho

- me estoy riendo mucho más

- acabo de darme cuenta (de nuevo) de que la vida es dura con todos, que nunca debo sentir que no puedo hacer algo y que todo estará bien mientras yo siga sonriendo porque siempre habrá alguien que me haga reír de mi misma si eso es lo que necesito hacer.

Holaaaa a todos (: ¿Qué tal fin de semana? Estarán orgullosísimos de saber que no salí este fin de semana, me quedé leyendo y leyendo cosas de todos lados. Dios, amo el Internet! Bueno, en realidad salí un rato a averiguar unas cosas, pero no fue con fines de ocio, that's for sure. En fin... Hoy en la mañana estuve ojeando en nymag.com y me di cuenta de que tenía unas cositas con las que podía armar unos looks con inspiración de la pasarela. Llegué a esto, espero que les guste (:

Tengo esa camisa de denim desde la primaria, me acuerdo que me la ponía con pantalones finos y pegaditos como leggings, ahora me suena tan chévere jaja. El punto es... Hace unos meses me la traje de Chiclayo (donde había quedado olvidada) y le quité el bolsillo (por eso quedaron las marcas) y pensaba teñirla de un azul más oscuro pero nunca llegué a hacerlo. Ahora veo pues que en la pasarela de Chloé hay un look parecido y... vi la luz y ya, todos somos felices (:

I've had that denim shirt since elementary school, I remember wearing it with pants really similar to leggings, now that sounds so cool to me haha. Anyway... Months ago, I brought it from Chiclayo (where it had been forgotten) and removed the pocket (that's where the marks came from) and I thought I'd dyed the shirt in a darker shade of blue but I never got to do it. Now I come across the Chloé show where there's a model wearing something similiar and... I think I saw the light and that's it, we're all happy (:

Holaaa. Cambié algunos colores en el blog, no sé si lo notaron. En realidad, no me sorprendería si me dijeran que no porque yo no soy muy de hacer cambios radicales en mi vida. Inesperados sí, pero no radicales. En fin... Les cuento que me muero de sueño. Ya tengo mi horario de la Universidad y, sinceramente, lo único que espero es: sobrevivir. ¿Dormiré? ¿Respiraré? ¿Consumiré algo más que cafeína? ¿Leeré algo más que teorías económicas? Ya veremos...

¡¡El Otoño ya está aquí!! Hoy, a las 12:30pm, empezó oficialmente el otoño, ¡yeeeeeeh! (:

Y... Hoy es la reunión de cumpleaños de una de mis mejores amigas. Aún no sé qué me pondré PERO estoy empezando a tener esta rara tradición. Por los últimos dos meses, he visto Kill Bill (ambos Volúmenes) en los días en que he tenido fiestas de cumpleaños... Lo cual es raro (como ya dije jaja). Recuerdo que hace como cinco años no podía aguantar el ver sangre en ninguna película y ahora Tarantino es mi director favorito, qué... ¡RARO! Jaja, ok, "raro" es mi palabra favorita últimamente (; En fin... Si no han visto Kill Bill, ¡TIENEN QUE HACERLO! Al menos la primera (y, cuando terminen de ver esa, van a querer ver el Volumen 2 -porque es algo adictivo), el Volumen 1 es mi favorito.

And... Today's one of my best friend's birthday party! Don't know what I'm wearing yet BUT I'm beginning to have this weird tradition. For the past couple months, I've been watching Kill Bill (both Volumes) the day I have a birthday party... Which is weird (like I just said haha). I remember how like five years ago I couldn't stand the sight of blood in any movie and now Tarantino is my favorite director, so... WEIRD! Haha, ok, "weird" is my favorite word lately (; Anyway... If you haven't seen Kill Bill, YOU HAVE TO! At least the first one (and, once you finish seeing that one, you're going to want to see Volume 2 -'cause it's kind of adictive), Volume 1's my favorite.

El fin de semana pasado salí con S/.25, ¿se acuerdan? Bueeeeno, déjenme contarles que al final gasté sólo S/.18 (weeeeee!) PERO fue porque no fui a Bo Bo. Nos quedamos en La Máquina conversando. Me enteré hace como un mes pero hoy es el día en que todo se hace más que oficial. Hoy salen a la venta las entradas!

Found out like a month ago but today's the day it all becomes more than oficial. Tickets are out today!

Woohoo! Y yo máaaas misia que nunca. Esto del primer sueldo y del ahorro... Digamos que no ha salido taaan bien. Bueno, en realidad si he ahorrado lo que pensaba ahorrar PERO estamos a la mitad de marzo y ya me quedé sin dinero para los gastos diarios (pasajes, Coca Cola's, Trident's, Starbucks, etc.). Así que... Con mi nuevo espíritu austero... Hoy saldré con una misión: No gastar más de S/.25 (:

Woohoo! And I'm so broke. This first month payment and savings... Let's just say it hasn't worked sooo well. Actually, I have saved the amount I thought BUT we're in the middle of march and I already run out of money for daily expenses (bus, Coke, Trident, Starbucks runs, etc.). So... With my new saving spirit... Today I'm going out with a mission: Don't spend more than S/.25 (:

Y pienso ir a La Máquina y a Bo Bo Bar (como hacemos todos los sábados). El problema es que... S/.25 es prácticamente "el taxi seguro de regreso a casa" así que... Regresaré a casa a las 11:30pm en micro. Qué extraño se siente decir eso después de haber pasado todo el verano regresando los domingos a las 5am a mi casa (no lo tomen a mal, sólo me gusta bastante bailar). Por otro lado, mi ventaja es: no necesito tomar para divertirme. En realidad, todos los fines de semana, gasto más en agua que en trago. Así que, según yo, distribuiré esos S/.25 de la siguiente manera:

It feels so weird saying that after spending the whole summer arriving home at 5am (don't take this the wrong way, I just like dancing really much). On the other hand, I have an advantage: I don't need to drink to have fun. Actually, every weekend, I spend a lot more on water than on booze. So, acording to moi, I'll spend those S/.25 this way:

Pasajes = S/.5
Ice Capuccino con Baileys @La Máquina = S/.12
Agua (bottled water) @Bo Bo = S/.6

TOTAL = S/.23 (+/- S/.2)

Podría tomar un jugo en La Máquina y gastar S/.8 en lugar de S/.12. Pero sólo hay dos tipos de jugo y, en todo caso, preferiría ir a La Gran Fruta y tomar medio litro de jugo de Lúcuma con Chirimoya por S/.8.50. Como podrán ver, estoy pensando esto muy seriamente jaja.

I could have a juice at La Máquina and spend S/.8 instead of S/.12. But there are only two kind of juices there and, in that case, I'd rather go to La Gran Fruta and drink a 16onz. Lúcuma and Custard Apple juice for S/8.50. As you can see, I'm thinking this really seriously haha.
